With the army getting most of the Garands after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Marines were left with 1903s as their main small arm through major battles like Guadalcanal, until they were finally replaced in 1944 by the M1 Garand and carbine. When rifles would go through USMC armorers hands, they'd often leave hallmarks. Some of those include hatcher holes, clamp marks on barrel(often replaced with barrels dated 1941-1944), electro pencil serial #s on parts and stippled butt plates. While it's impossible to say any rifle was used by any specific group without a paper trail documentation, the above mentioned "hallmarks" are if not strong evidence then a very good direction pointer. Not every rifle will have all of these, most only have one or two. If you need a specific feature, see the item description for each per rifle.
(Item abbreviations. HH = Hatcher Hole, BP = Stippled Butt Plate, 41brl = 1941 USMC marked barrel, + = above average cosmetics.) If there's none listed, then I couldn't find any.
This will be a one time offering. Half are listed individually.(price based on the features/condition), half are dealer's choice(DC). The DC come with Rem gun cleaning kit sans oil. - These DO NOT have import marks. All grades as good, bores will be at least fair/serviceable but most of them are good/very good.
THESE ARE ALL LOW SERIAL NUMBER - Please do your research on low # 1903 rifles BEFORE ordering. The military conducted tests for heat treatment issues on 03s below serial number 800k and found issues with < 70 of them. There's two camps of thought on this. The first is that's enough rifles to not bother with rifles under 800k. The other is that these rifles went through likely WW1, WW2 and all that time in between being fired so much that most needed their barrels replaced, so if something was going to happen, it would have. Because of the stigma these low serial # rifles have attached to them, they're sold as non shooters, for collectible purposes only. While fully functional, you should have a licensed gunsmith clear them for safe firing before shooting.

Means a rifle will be randomly chosen from the DC category in the video. I do not have ANY off to the side, you'll literally get one of the one's shown. All of these grade as good surplus condition and are guaranteed to at least have a hatcher hole(USMC hallmark) but may also(no guarantee) have a USMC marked barrel or stippled butt. To be fair to everyone, I've boxed these up to ship so they are truly lucky of the draw, if you need a special request/feature, choose from the individually listed rifles. Every #DC rifle will come with a Remington gun cleaning kit!(Just the kit, the plastic package won't fit.)

Kilroy AR-15 Lowers
Meme lowers are fun, I came up with this WW2 "Kilroy was here" themed lower and had Bad Attitude Department produce them. Yes they are a little pricey, but it's from a premium maker, not a budget builder. These have a flared mag well and are anodized! I used a paint marker(oil based) to fill in my markings but yours will come plain black. - MUST SHIP TO FFL.
